In some parts you can throw the corpse over a cliff from half a mile away even with Kate, making the enemy body goes like 5 feet up in the air and 10 feet front, she barely can move a corpse but becomes hulk at some cliffs, makes no sense. When 2 or more characters are in the same spot they get stuck easily, it was usual for Kate to get stuck (vibrating erratically) in front of a door with the order to put a corpse inside until I moved the character blocking the door. When you use the link power of Isabelle on 2 longcoats and then you shot them both with Cooper (2 guns showdown) one of them dies and the other only gets 1 of damage. You can tie a person from another floor when is knocked out, I mean it made easier some missions but thats really not supposed to happen (animation happens in an upper floor, enemy gets ties on the lower one) The few other things I've encountered in their games were either animation glitches that didn't actually impact gameplay (Like an unconscious guard appearing still standing but capable of being interacted with as normal), or which were trivially reset (Such as tossing the rock near the pair of glitched NPCs in Shadow Tactics). Basically, an edge case they didn't think of, because otherwise, I've been impressed with how robust their game is. The only thing I can think of was linking a guard to a dog and knocking the platform out from under the guard to kill them, at which point the dog became non-responsive (I'm guessing it didn't have a fall animation, so it just locked up). I'm struggling to think of any bugs I encountered in Desperados 3. and that was in Shadow Tactics, and solved by tossing a rock near them to "reset" them. The only one of those bugs I've ever seen was a single time that a lured pair of NPCs returned to position but looking in the wrong direction. I was unable to interact with her anymore besides killing (So no punching again), rendering the rest of the mission way harder than it should've been.Ĭomparing it to shadow tactics, where I literally never encountered a bug, its quite something. Wanted to move the mission objectives closer to the bell to kill them with that, only to realize that marge was free from her ties and just stood there on the road. Tied up marge for an easy "kill 3 mission targets" at the same time, and kept on playing. Usually I refrain from harsh criticism, and still gave Desperados 3 a good review on steam, but some are downright game-breaking.Įven ignoring enemies that look others ways after being lured away and return to posts (So much so that they start their shooting animation towards their own people), enemies stopping routines after quick-loading (Like exploding the rock with dynamite) and did nothing for the rest of the level, certain areas where enemies can look into not shown as such (Like certain flowerbeds), right now im replaying the game on desperado difficulty, second mission, and collecting badges along the way. ![]() I love the guys from Mimimi, that much that I bought the Deluxe Edition, but damn, comparing how refined shadow tactics is compared to Desperados 3, Mimimi seems to have been slacking.
